A Frequency Support Approach for Hybrid Energy Systems Considering Energy Storage

In hybrid energy systems, the intermittent and fluctuating nature of new sources poses major challenges for regulation control power systems. To mitigate these challenges, storage devices have gained attention their ability to rapidly charge discharge. Collaborating with wind (WP), (ES) can participate in frequency regional grids. This approach has garnered extensive interest from scholars worldwide. paper proposes a two-region load model that accounts thermal power, hydropower, ES, WP. address complex, nonlinear optimization problems, dingo algorithm (DOA) is employed quickly obtain optimal dispatching commands under different disturbances. The DOA algorithm’s effectiveness verified through simulation model. Furthermore, further validate proposed method’s effect, results are compared those genetic (GA) proportion method (PROP). Simulation show effect more significant than other methods.
